Summary

I’m focusing on computer animation as a career path. I’m currently working on developing my techniques with modeling and texturing objects, environments, and characters.

I have experience with Maya, After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Zbrush, and Substance Painter. I am looking to further get into and work with Substance Designer and Unreal Engine.

Some of my favorite concepts are medieval environments and objects, and human characters. I am interested in realistic and cartoon styles, and often prefer a more Gothic aesthetic. I love story-telling and world building, as well as the characters and creatures which populate them.

Ultimately I would love to work for a major animation studio, my dream is to make fairy-tales come to life for people all over the world, as well as to create new fantastic stories filled with magic and wonder.

Even though I lean toward the world of movies and television as a medium for story-telling, I am also open to the idea of working in gaming animation! I have found the ability to tell a story can come to life in many interesting ways in gaming, like the ability to feel more of like a participant than an observer.

As I perceive it, the line which separates the 3D worlds of gaming and movies/television is becoming more and more blurred over time. I am fascinated by the potential that the future holds for the world of story-telling and am excited to play any role within it.
